Hi! My name is Leanne Hartley, and this is my story.
I am the proud business owner of Nepean Conveyancing Services, having purchased the business over five years ago now. I have not been a conveyancer for a mere five years though. I have dedicated my entire working life, nearly twenty-seven odd years to conveyancing. At the age of 17 I commenced working at a Law Firm in Black Rock, called G.R. Herbert & Co, first as the receptionist and after a couple of years as the conveyancing clerk. John Herbert, the principal of the firm was a good teacher and with his tutelage and my hunger for knowledge and love for the job, my passion for conveyancing flourished.
After about twenty-two years of working in law firms and at conveyancing offices I decided to buy a conveyancing practice.
I studied at RMIT University in Melbourne and in 2009 graduated with a Diploma of Financial Services in Conveyancing achieving high distinctions. I was also awarded the Best Student of my graduating class!
I have a full conveyancing licence and am a member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (Victorian Division).
